• Amazon taking on Netflix


    Amazon is taking on the giant Netflix by offering a stand alone streaming service. Amazon will offer the streaming service for $8.99 a month.  This all comes on the heels of Netflix announcing it would begin charging $9.99 in May. 

  • Netflix increases to $10


    Netflix will increase the monthly charge to $10 next month.  Netflix customers and Netflix customers that were grandfathered in paying $7.99 will be paying $10 a month starting in May 2016.  Netflix says the customers affected by the changes will be notified by email. 

  • Facebook revenue growth due to ads


    Facebook’s strong mobile advertising business helped the social network report positive results for the fourth quarter of 2014.
